Pizza Night

The unattractive option was a delicious, very correct choice.
I was walking my pupper on Friday night, and I often talk to my dad during this time. I hadn't really figured out dinner aside from leftovers and was actually dreading rummaging around in the fridge for something. My dad casually mentioned that he was about to go eat pizza with my nieces.
"That sounds delicious, Dad."
"Well, every Friday night is Pizza Night."

I know that other families do things like a weekly pizza night or taco Tuesday, and my schedule never seems to be consistent enough to do a weekly meal theme. But you bet your last dollar that I went home and figured out how to order Dominoes pizza as fast as you can say "Taylor needs carbs." I didn't even find the local place. I just went all in. And it was so relaxing to feel unburdened from the need to cook for just two people (which is, in reality more blessing than burden).

Have you made a Pizza Night choice lately that made your heart sing songs of rest? Perhaps you went to that park that everyone else goes to and isn't really all that special--but it's novel to your kids. Perhaps you aren't a daily walker and someone mentioning their daily sanity walk sparked you to try it. Let me know in the comments below.
